IT BEGAN WITH AN IDEA…
My favourite local meadow was ablaze with poppies, I felt I couldn’t get close enough to the blooms, it suddenly started to rain, softening the scene into fluid colour. I watched spellbound waiting for the petals to fall, eager to capture the scene before they fell. I carried that feeling of wonder home to paint.
