Beautiful orange/red poppies, surrounded by poppy heads and blue/green leaves. This piece was created after visiting a poppy field during a summer rain shower. I wanted to capture how the poppies might look if the rain hadn’t made all the petals drop. The background became fluid, the poppies bleeding into it.
Made using acid free paper, with giclee quality printing process, this artwork is framed with wood from Italy and protected by a clear acrylic sheeting. This is a safety feature and helps lighten the weight for hanging.
